The words we speak stick to a person.

A word carries meaning that one can attribute tangible outcomes to.

In itself, a word speaks and informs motion that can be born.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 

Words shape a person

Our words inform who a person will be in life.

A mother knows how to reinforce good behavior by encouraging it.

If a word builds a child to behave accordingly;

imagine what it does for an adult.

Stressed-out or overly critical parents shape a child’s personality.

God-fearing parents build up a child in the right way of life.

“But He answered and said, “It is written, 

‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Matthew 4:4

Words transform a person

A child is transformed into a child of God by the words around them.

The words children hear transform them.

Good words build character.

Before actions manifest, they exist as thoughts, and finally as words.

A mind that’s clean produces clean thinking, while a corrupt mind produces bad behavior.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue,

And those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21

In the tongue there is life.

Positive or negative words build character

A compliment about our positive character sticks, even after many years.

It’s up to an individual to decide whether the positive feedback is upheld or not.

An insult stays in our minds as a negative thing, even after time has passed.

It’s also up to an individual to decide whether a negative characteristic is sustained or negated.

Being honest is encouraged, even when it is hard.

Learning to respect other people’s property is reinforced from an early age.

Right actions and words transform a person

No one is born a thief.

Actions are informed by what we see in our environment.

No one is born a saint.

Transformation begins when we are taught what is right.

A child who does wrong is either stopped or encouraged.

Does a child who steals stop when told to do so?

Does a child who gives stop giving when unrecognized?

Abundance and scarcity lie on opposite ends of the spectrum

Words stick to you like glue, and shape you as you grow like surround sound.

When abundance is taught, it often goes with what comes out from one’s heart.

Good words build good things and character.

Actions come from words that are believed,

which transform you as you grow like bamboo.

In the shortest time, you can build a reputation that grows forever.

Bad words build bad character and things.

Looking at life from a place of scarcity can shape how you think.

Instead of working hard and mimicking good behavior,

some choose to steal from others.

Looking at life from a place of abundance can shape how you think.

Instead of stealing from others and choosing corruption,

most choose to work diligently and honestly.

In the tongue there is abundance.

In the tongue there is scarcity.

Completely, two different ways of looking at life can change one’s perspective.
